Our Lawyers

Bruce Doyle is an accredited family law specialist.  He is a member of the Council of the Queensland Law Society.  He is a former president of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland and a former executive member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.  He has acted as president of Queensland's Children Services Tribunal.  He has an interest and expertise in Child Support as a Senior Case Officer with the Child support Agency.  Bruce has practiced in family law since 1983 in Queensland and the Northern Territory.  He is a collaborative lawyer, mediator and a registered family dispute resolution provider. 


 


 

 

Patricia Keyworth is an accredited family law specialist with over 20 years of experience in family law practice in both complex children's matters and large property matters.  Trish acts as an Independent Children's Lawyer in children's matters.  She also holds a degree in commerce and has the benefit of general commercial law experience. 

 


 

 

Gordon Harris has gained a wealth of experience as a soldier and a police officer.  Seeking a change of career, he completed his legal studies while working as a court officer in the Family Court of Australia.  Gordon has completed a Master of Laws.  He has particular expertise in complex rural property, child protection, domestic violence matters and criminal law.  He is a regular volunteer at the Caxton Legal Service. 

 


 

 

 

Carolyn Lowe completed her Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours and Diploma in the Legal Practice Course at the Queensland University of Technology.  During her undergraduate degree she was appointed a Dean's Research Scholar.  She was admitted as a solicitor in 2003 and has since practiced exclusively in family law.  She has been a volunteer Family Law Solicitor with Women's Legal Service.  Carolyn is trained as and acts as a mediator. 


      

 

Pat Marrinan has been an accredited family law specialist since 1997.  He was admitted as a solicitor on 31 January 1978 and conducted his own general practice at Kenmore for 28 years, incorporating a substantial family law section.  He has had extensive experience in family law, as well as the commercial and property aspects of family law.  Pat is available for appointments in Chapel Hill as well as our city office.
