Bruce Doyle has been practising in family law since 1983 and has been accredited as a family law specialist since accreditation was introduced in Queensland in 1996. Bruce is a well-known and well-respected member of the legal profession and is currently Immediate Past President of the Queensland Law Society and has been a Director of the Law Council of Australia from 2010 to 2012. He is a former President of the Family Law Practitioners Association of Queensland. Bruce has extensive experience in mediation and practises as a Collaborative lawyer.
He also has a long-standing interest in ensuring ordinary people have access to justice and he chairs the Queensland Law Society Access to Justice Pro Bono Law Committee. Hisexperience includes acting as President of Queensland’s Children Services Tribunal and spending time as Solicitor-in-Charge of Family Law at the Northern Territory Legal Aid Commission. In addition to his broad experience in children and property matters, Bruce has particular interest and expertise in Child Support.
